As Lead designer at Tint, a startup that helps businesses find new revenue streams in InsurTech, I was responsible for creating a sustainable and flexible design system, as well as UX writing and UX research guidelines. I acted as a manager to the design team, helping them grow and get buy-in for design-led change. Additionally, I created Tint's back office, CARE, to support internal operations and customer service. I also produce engaging and relevant material for our prospects to showcase our value proposition and vision.

Working in the EMEA based team remotely, I was initially focused on the security products, but later moved on to lead the Data team across product verticals. While leading the Data efforts across the org in Cloudflare, it was daunting to realise how disconnected a single product can be when there are so many siloed verticals. However, I turned that challenge into partnership opportunities through taking the time to truly understand what customers need and want to see at different levels, and finding common threads in different roadmaps across the org. Even though when Data was handed to me it was an open-ended area to explore, I managed to get the buy-in to promote in-product experiences that broadened the audience we could achieve, with real-world metrics we could influence in a way that is a win-win for everyone: customers get more education and guidance, and the business gets customers who stay with us for longer and use our products more effectively.
